In Shoreham-by-Sea, one of our trustees has found a simple but powerful way to share Mechanics for Africa’s story. In a bright corner of his home, he’s positioned a frame of MfA students and staff — complete with programme leaflets and a Zambian flag for good measure.
Subtle? Not quite. But full of heart? Absolutely.
Visitors notice it straight away. They ask questions. And just like that, our students’ stories are told over a cup of tea (and, if you’re lucky, a biscuit). Because MfA isn’t just something he supports — it’s something he’s brought into his life, heart, and living room.
And he’s not alone. To everyone who has made space for MfA — on your walls, in your churches, in conversations over coffee, and in your lives — thank you. You help share our story in ways no brochure ever could.
