Its thanksgiving Friday!! This we are grateful for the gift of community.
We asked our students what it means to have community. We asked our students what community means to them, and this is what they had to say:
Godfrey, Isaiah and Chabu shared that to them community is a group of individuals who share common interests, values and goals with some form of connection that gives a sense of unity, cooperation, and support amongst its members.
Mirriam Chingomi and Henry Mume (First year students) said to them, MfA is gives them a sense of community. Henry attests saying, “we have a culture that gives a sense of community, we eat together we work together through chores and our schoolwork with a shared goal, that’s to maintain the place God has given us.”
To us it important to have MfA feel like a community a family where we can each play our part in achieving Gods great purpose for our lives.
