Mechanics and Information Communication Technology (ICT)

Technology is the Pen and Paper of our day, the lens through which we view the world. We interact with it daily; it has become a huge part of our lives today.  It can empower people in their various fields and increase their creativity.

It is this understanding that is the reasoning behind why apart from our main subject is Motor Vehicle Mechanics we also teach a variety of other valuable Life Skills, including Basic Computer Skills. This skill our students have also seen as relevant for their career in mechanics. Edmond Mbunda shares his view saying, “the world is changing, cars are adapting to this change as well, studying basic computer skills creates a foundation for us to be familiar with some of these new cars”. He also highlights the use of computers in this field of work for things such as checking wheel alignment.
