This week, after a break that for many meant hard piecework to raise fees, our Mechanics and Clerical Operations students returned to campus—ready to pick up both their tools and their books. First on the timetable—and first stop—Chapel on Monday.
We launched this term’s theme, “Understanding Salvation,” with the session “What’s Wrong with the World—and Me?”—an honest exploration of the universal problem of sin (Romans 3:23, Isaiah 59:2, Romans 6:23). Just as a damaged engine can’t repair itself or a corrupted spreadsheet can’t unfreeze its own cells, we can’t save ourselves.
Our goal is to equip students not only with the technical skills their workplaces need but also with clear information to make informed decisions about life and faith. Students are free to agree, wrestle, or walk away—but they deserve to understand what they’re choosing.
