Its seminar week and we are having such a great time. Student, Justin, is currently taking part in our Work Readiness Seminar and he shares what the experience has been like so far. From gaining practical skills to building confidence for the workplace.
“The Work readiness seminar so far has been a good experience. In this seminar I have learned many things such as how to a cover letter and also how to write a CV. We also had a mock interview that taught me what to expect during a job interview. The questions were for us as engineers so this gave me a lot of insight in my field.
What we have learned I believe is applicable in my life and am very sure that I will be able to apply them in real life as I go out into the society and I will be a very good employee. I have learned a good number of things so far and am hoping that we will continue learning more of new things even as we conclude on how we can prepare for work and meet employer expectations.”
