We were encouraged by a visit from Steven Chimenge, one of our MfA alumni and son of one of our MfA employees. He encouraged our students to respond with gladness towards being at MfA, that what they receive here will make them stand out in their different places of work. As a person of influence in his work place, he shared how what he learnt from MfA through not just academic activities but activities like chores, contributed to who and where he is now. It was uplifting to see Steven share this with our second-year students.
Our Hope is they are encouraged and gladdened by Stevens words.
