It costs less than you might think to give an underprivileged young Zambian a step up in life. We think it is critically important that our students invest something into their own education, so they each pay about 20% of their own fees. The rest comes from sponsors in the UK just like you. We link sponsors to individual students, so you will get the occasional letter and a photo of your student so you know who is receiving your donation, and the difference it has made to them.
Our donations are processed by CAF Donate, and you can donate in any currency as long as your bank has the ability to convert your host currency into £ Sterling (almost all banks do). Most major banks worldwide support regular donations to foreign banks. You can also donate through CAF using PayPal, which doesn't usually charge fees for foreign currency transactions.
